When you submit a consultation request through the Site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), your role (attorney or defendant/family), case type, jurisdiction, and the message you write. The consultation form is intended for preliminary, non-sensitive contact only. Do not submit privileged communications, confidential discovery materials, admissions, sensitive case documents, or any information you would not want disclosed in a legal proceeding. - No privilege is created by website contact. Submitting information through the Site's contact or consultation form does not create attorney-client privilege, work-product protection, or any other evidentiary privilege. Framed Not Guilty is not a law firm and Michael P. Andrews is not an attorney.
- Preliminary contact only. The consultation form is designed for initial, non-sensitive outreach. Substantive case materials, discovery documents, privileged communications, and sensitive factual information should only be exchanged after a formal consulting engagement has been established through a signed written agreement, and should be coordinated with your defense counsel.
- How consultation information is used. Information submitted through the consultation form is reviewed by Michael P. Andrews for the purpose of evaluating whether an engagement is appropriate. It is not shared with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to respond to your inquiry (for example, forwarding your message to a secure email inbox).
- Retention. Consultation request information is retained for a reasonable period to allow for follow-up and record-keeping. If no engagement is established, we will delete or de-identify your consultation information upon request. To request deletion, contact us at [email protected].
- Engaged clients. If a consulting engagement is established, the handling of case-related information will be governed by the terms of the written consulting agreement between you and Framed Not Guilty, which will address confidentiality, data handling, and retention specific to your matter.
